Summary of Position
The role of Data Architect and Analytics Lead (IT) sits in Global Application Team reporting to the Group Application Director and working closely with IT and business stakeholders, enterprise infrastructure and application architects, application owners and external service providers.
As a Data Architect and Analytics Lead (IT), you will be responsible to designs and maintain data architecture strategies and standards and data management governance principles. You will need to understand business requirements to be able to design and implement BI and Data Analytics solutions to drive business insights. You will work closely with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of BI and Data Analytics concepts, excellent problem-solving skills, and a track record of successfully implementing data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Microsoft cloud-based data and analytics technologies and should be also familiar with enterprise integration platforms.
Responsibilities of the Data Architect and Analytics Lead (IT) include managing the day-to-day activities in his/her domain, collaborating with other IT technical experts internal as well as externals and partnering with business teams to design Data and Analytics solutions according to the business requirements. The incumbent also plays key role in solution implementations leading solution development and deployment.
This position can provide opportunity to develop skills in BI and Data Analytics domain focusing on enterprise data architecture, data governance and data management best practices within an international environment in a growing organization.

Essential Functions
Data Architecture and Data Management Strategy
- Delivers strategic plans improving data integration, data quality, and data delivery in support of business initiatives and roadmaps
- Defines and manages data governance frameworks, standards, processes, and guidelines to ensure data quality
- Designs the structure and layout of data management systems, including databases, warehouses, and lakes, simplifies the existing data architecture, delivering reusable services and cost-saving opportunities in line with the policies and standards of the company
- Evaluates and recommends emerging technologies for data management, storage, and analytics, defines and implements the long-term technology strategy and innovations roadmaps across analytics, data engineering, and data platforms
- Participates in the peer review of architectural artifacts across enterprise application environment
Project Delivery
- Analyze business requirements related to BI and Data Analytics, translates high-level business requirements into data models and appropriate metadata, test data, and data quality standards and advise about functional and technical solution to be implemented
- Design BI and Data Analytics solutions end-to-end, including data models, data mapping, data transformation and integration processes (ETL), data visualization, and reporting components.
- Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute the implementation of software solutions within the BI and Data Analytics domain, including data migration, system configuration, solution testing, documentation and end-user training troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Manage team of technical experts (internal and external) being responsible for projects and application management activities for applications within the BI and Data Analytics domain
- Provide ongoing support for implemented solutions and support roadmap execution for applications within the BI and Data Analytics domain
Stakeholder Management
- Foster strong relationships and partnerships with IT leadership and business stakeholders.
- Manages relationship with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to secure strong engagement and ensures that the delivery of the project aligns with longer-term strategic roadmaps
- Facilitate and contribute to community awareness and knowledge upskilling.
- Adheres to internal company policies and processes advised by respective internal teams, Compliance, HR SOPs, etc.
Requirements
Must have Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as Data and Analytics Professional, Data Architect, Data Management Professional or similar role in an enterprise environment.
- Leadership skills to motivate and lead teams through direct as well as indirect management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work well within a team, taking on tasks during busy periods, assisting colleagues, and providing guidance to other staff members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, interpreting information from multiple sources with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Fluent in English; Czech and or French advantage.
