Summary of Position

The role of Enterprise Application Architect sits in Global Application Team reporting to the Group Application Director and working closely with IT and business stakeholders, application owners and external service providers. 
 

As an Enterprise Application Architect, you will be responsible for understanding business requirements and designing software solutions that are used across the whole company. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, and external vendors to identify requirements, design solutions that meet business needs and support implementation of projects. 
 

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Microsoft cloud-based application technologies (Dynamics365, Power Apps, Azure) should be familiar with enterprise application integration platforms (Boomi) as well as other cloud-based technologies and solutions (Oracle, Salesforce, etc.). As a part of his/her application architecture role, the incumbent also designs and maintains data management strategies i.e. designs data architecture, maintain data management strategy and designs data integration principles within enterprise application landscape. 
 

Responsibilities of the Enterprise Application Architect include managing the day-to-day activities in his/her domain, collaborating with other IT technical experts internal as well as externals and partnering with business teams to design IT solutions according to the business requirements. The incumbent also plays key role in application solution implementations leading initial phases of projects and overseeing solution development and deployment.  
 

This position can provide opportunity to develop skills in Application design domain adopting cloud and SaaS technologies, application integration, IT SDLC management and other best practices within an international environment in a growing organization.  

Essential Functions

Application Strategy and Application Roadmap Planning  

Collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to define application and data strategies. 

Translates business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work. 

Ensure target state enterprise application and data architecture is aligned with the business strategy and goals. 

Identify gaps in the current state and plan roadmap initiatives to achieve the target state. 

Drive technology innovation planning and assess technical feasibility. 

Architectural Oversight 

Define and maintain application and data architectural standards, policies, and procedures. 

Ensure application and data architecture and solutions comply with architectural standards. 

Manage tools and processes supporting application and data architecture functions. 

Oversee overall application and data architecture governance. 

Stakeholder Management 

Foster strong relationships and partnerships with IT leadership and business stakeholders. 

Facilitate and contribute to community awareness and knowledge upskilling. 

Project Delivery 

Leads evaluation, design, and analysis for the implementation of a solutions architecture across a group of specific business applications or technologies, based on enterprise business strategies, business requirements and enterprise standards. 

Ensure the application project portfolio aligns with overall application and data strategy. 

Provide solution guidance to promote strategically aligned, high-quality solution designs. 

Adheres to internal company policies and processes advised by respective internal teams, Compliance, HR SOPs, etc. 

Requirements

Must have Experience/Skills: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. 

Proven experience as an Application Architect, Data Management Professional or similar role in an enterprise environment. 

Proven experience working with application and data architecture frameworks (TOGAF) 

Leadership skills to motivate and lead teams through direct as well as indirect management. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Ability to work well within a team, taking on tasks during busy periods, assisting colleagues, and providing guidance to other staff members. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, interpreting information from multiple sources with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. 

Fluent in English; Czech and or French advantage. 
 

Nice to have Experience/Skills: 

Microsoft MB700 Certification (Dynamics365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect)  

Microsoft PL600 Certification PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect
