Summary of Position
We are looking for a Junior Production Specialist who will be responsible for executing end-to-end radiopharmaceutical production processes, including irradiation, synthesis, packaging, labeling, and distribution activities in full compliance with RSO, GMP, GRP, and operational procedures.
This role requires a detail-oriented and quality-focused professional who ensures that all production conditions, equipment, and documentation requirements are properly managed. The position will actively contribute to operational excellence by maintaining production continuity, supporting equipment validation and calibration activities, and participating in R&D and product development processes.
Essential Functions
- Carries out end-to-end production processes (irradiation, synthesis, and distribution) and performs the packaging, labeling, and loading of manufactured products onto vehicles in compliance with relevant RSG, GMP, and operational instructions.
- Ensures that all required conditions for production are established.
- Monitors and manages the materials required for production, conducts production activities in accordance with GMP, GRP, and approved procedures and instructions, and ensures proper documentation and reporting.
- Maintains the order and cleanliness of the production laboratory and ensures that production materials are prepared and available prior to production.
- Checks that the required conditions are met for equipment and systems involved in production activities.
- Monitors the continuous operation of systems and equipment and, when necessary, coordinates with relevant departments to ensure they remain in proper working condition; promptly reports maintenance activities, information, and requirements to the manager and relevant departments.
- Ensures the accuracy of procedures, instructions, and methods related to production activities and performs revisions when necessary.
- Conducts and reports calibration, qualification, and validation activities for equipment, systems, processes, and production operations within the department.
- Participates in R&D and product development activities by supporting material procurement, production preparation, and pilot/trial production processes.
Requirements
- Graduated with at least a Bachelor’s degree from the Chemistry or Chemical Engineering departments of universities,
- Preferably knowledgeable about guidelines such as FDA, GMP, and ISO,
- Able to adapt to flexible and intensive working conditions,
- Has a good command of English,
- Preferably experienced in using SAP,
- Residing in İzmir,
- For male candidates, military service completed,
- Holds a valid driver’s license and actively drives,
- Open to communication and a team-oriented
