Summary of Position

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring laboratory operations comply with GMP, GLP, and GRP standards, performing analytical testing, managing equipment calibration and validation processes, and overseeing method development and stability studies to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure that Quality Control Laboratories operate in compliance with GMP, GLP, and GRP requirements; manage and oversee laboratory activities effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform and ensure all required testing for raw materials, packaging materials, in-process, and finished products in accordance with GRP, GLP, GMP, and approved documentation.
  • Plan and ensure the execution of calibration and/or validation/qualification programs for laboratory equipment.
  • Prepare or ensure the preparation of procedures and instructions related to Quality Control Laboratory activities; keep procedures and records up to date.
  • Develop new analytical methods and perform or ensure method validation.
  • Conduct and ensure stability studies in accordance with relevant guidelines and procedures.
  • Comply with shift schedules and fulfill shift responsibilities according to the analysis plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Preferably at least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with hands-on experience in GC, HPLC, TLC, and preferably ICP-MS instruments.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Preferably knowledge of SAP and QMex systems.
  • Residing in or able to reside in Istanbul (Anatolian side) or Kocaeli (Gebze).
