Summary of Position
This is an observation-only job shadowing event. Participants will not perform any work, duties, or productive tasks, handle materials or products, operate equipment, or enter controlled areas without authorization. The opportunity is designed solely to provide insight into the workplace and potential career paths.
Essential Functions
Interested in science, healthcare, or laboratory careers?
We are offering a free half-day job shadowing opportunity for people with disabilities who would like to learn more about careers in the radiopharmaceutical industry.
This structured insight day provides an opportunity to meet professionals, observe workplace activities, and learn about career pathways in radiopharmacy, Quality Assurance (QA), and Quality Control (QC).
What you will do
- Learn about the radiopharmaceutical industry and its role in healthcare
- Take part in a supervised site tour
- Meet employees working in scientific and laboratory-based roles
- Observe selected QA and QC activities where permitted
- Learn about career pathways, graduate opportunities, and routes into the industry
- Participate in a career discussion and Q&A session
