Associate Director Medical Affairs Prostate Cancer

Summary of Position

The Associate Director, Prostate Cancer develops scientific content and planning materials across Curium's radioligand, imaging, and oncology  portfolio. This role partners with Medical Directors, Medical Affairs Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate clinical and scientific information into clear, compliant deliverables that support medical planning, launch readiness, evidence generation, publications, congresses, training, and leadership decision-making.

This is a hands-on role for a scientifically strong professional who combines scientific expertise, strong communication skills, and project management discipline to move work from strategy through execution.  The ideal candidate will bring experience from a healthcare consulting, medical communications, or scientific communications environment and be comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.  The role offers an opportunity to gain increasing exposure to medical strategy development and cross-functional leadership, with potential growth into an Associate Medical Director position.  This is a full-time U.S.-based role. Travel may be required for planning sessions, workshops, congresses, and team meetings.

Essential Functions

• Medical Planning
  
  • Partner with Medical Directors and Medical Affairs leadership to develop medical plans, launch and tactical plans, project timelines, and leadership presentations.
  • Translate medical strategy and leadership direction into clear actions and deliverables.
• Scientific Content
  
  • Develop and update scientific platforms, slide decks, executive briefings, workshop materials, training materials, congress materials, and medical education content.
  • Translate clinical data and scientific evidence into accurate, audience-appropriate content.
  • Work with subject matter experts to maintain consistent scientific narratives, messages, and supporting evidence.
• Evidence Generation and Publications
  
  • Conduct literature, evidence, and competitive landscape reviews.
  • Support publication planning, evidence gap assessments, advisory boards, and consultant meetings.
  • Create evidence summaries, briefing documents, reference packs, and executive reports.
• Execution and Coordination
  
  • Manage multiple projects, stakeholders, review cycles, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Medical Information, HEOR, Publications, Regulatory, Compliance, Commercial, and external agencies as appropriate.
  • Develop dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to track Medical Affairs activities, timelines, and metrics.
  • Maintain strong version control, source documentation, and organized files.
  • Identify practical ways to improve the quality, consistency, and speed of Medical Affairs deliverables.
  • Must maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (i.e., FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.)

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a scientific or clinical discipline required, such as a PharmD, PhD, MD, or relevant MS.
• 12 or more years of experience in healthcare consulting, medical communications, scientific communications, or Medical Affairs. Agency or consulting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing multiple scientific projects, stakeholders, review cycles, and deadlines in a consulting, agency, or Medical Affairs environment.
• Experience developing scientific and strategic deliverables, including medical plans, scientific platforms, slide decks, executive presentations, publication materials, workshop content, and other client-facing materials.
• Experience in oncology, radiopharmaceuticals, or nuclear medicine preferred.
