Summary of Position

The Demand Planner for the Growth Markets Division is responsible for supporting end-to-end demand planning activities, with a strong focus on distributor forecast collection, demand review preparation, and close support to Sales on demand and supply-related topics. The role ensures high-quality demand data in Anaplan, timely forecast submissions from distributors, and clear communication of risks, opportunities, and variances to support informed decision-making.

Essential Functions

Distributor Forecast Collection

  • Support and back up demand planning activities related to issuing forecast templates to distributors.
  • Manage distributor contact information and communication workflows within Anaplan.
  • Ensure all forecast templates are received on time; proactively follow up in cases of delay or distributor absence.
  • Review submitted forecast templates to identify and resolve typing or data entry errors, coordinating corrections directly with distributors.
  • Load and maintain monthly distributor forecasts in Anaplan.
  • Review weekly and daily demand splits to ensure they are up to date and adjust when required.
  • Support onboarding and training of new Anaplan users, including distributors and internal stakeholders.

 

Demand Review Preparation

  • Review demand forecasts and highlight significant variances versus the previous plan, as well as deviations versus plan or target.
  • Update Anaplan with commercial and sales inputs, including demand assumptions, identified risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Support demand review meetings for Growth Markets and act as a backup to the demand planning team when needed.
  • Track and follow up on agreed sales actions resulting from demand review meetings.
  • Prepare clear and concise executive summaries for Growth Markets to support senior management decision-making.

 

Sales Support on Demand and Supply Topics

  • Support Sales teams with ad hoc demand planning projects, including Striascan weekly forecasting, Lutetium planning, and generator swaps.
  • Act as a key interface between Sales, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning on demand- and supply-related topics such as shipment quantities and dates, quotas, and availability constraints.
  • Support the demand planning team with monthly data collection activities, including actual sales and master data updates from Turkey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, commercial analytics, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with demand planning tools; experience with Anaplan is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working with distributors and international is preferred.

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, variances, and risks in demand data.
    • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with Sales, Supply Chain, and external distributors.
    • Proactive, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Comfortable working in a matrix organization with dual reporting lines.
    • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with forecasting and planning methodologies.

     

    Languages

     

    • English: Fluent (written and spoken)
    • Additional European languages are an advantage
