Summary of Position
The Financial Reporting Analyst is a key member of the Finance Department, responsible for ensuring correctness and accuracy of financial data, providing accurate and timely financial reports as well as contributing to process improvement and change initiatives and providing ad hoc financial analysis and support.
This role combines strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset. Successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment, where adaptability, learning agility, and ownership are essential.
Essential Functions
- Month-end and Year-end closing activities of the assigned regions / strategic units - ensuring correctness, reliability, and completeness of financial data and compliance with accounting procedures
- Close cooperation with GL teams and Controllers, guiding expense allocation and support during transitions and migrations
- Data analysis and investigation – identifying discrepancies, trends, or abnormalities in commercial and financial data; recommending corrections and process improvements
- Business partnering – acting as a first point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing regular and ad hoc analytical support to Controllers and Business
- Preparation of financial reports – creating regular and ad-hoc reports from various data sources (financial, project, sales), ensuring accuracy and clarity of presented insights
- Participation in budgeting and forecasting cycles – data consolidation, system uploads, reconciliations, and analysis of variances or inconsistencies
- Process optimisation – automation, standardisation, and simplification of reporting processes to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Ad hoc financial projects – participation in cross-functional or improvement projects assigned by the Team Leader or Finance Manager
Requirements
- Analytical mindset, problem solving skills, orientation on result
- Advanced Excel skills
- Finance, Accounting or related Bachelor’s Degree.
- Min. 1+ years of experience in Reporting, Controlling, Audit, or related analytical finance roles.
- Demonstrate appropriate understanding and strong knowledge of accounting/ financial analysis principles
- Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good level of English
Nice to have Experience / Skills:
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Experience with MS Power BI or Power Query
- Previous experience in international companies
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
