Summary of Position

The Sales Director LATAM (North) is responsible for driving commercial growth, market development, sales execution, and strategic stakeholder engagement across Mexico, Colombia and Central America for Curium’s portfolio of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceutical products.

The role combines three key dimensions:

  • Direct commercial and sales leadership, including distributor management, sales execution, customer development and achievement of revenue targets.
  • Commercial market development and field marketing activities, including defining local go-to-market initiatives, preparing market access and sales environments, and fostering collaboration between Nuclear Medicine physicians and Oncology stakeholders to support appropriate patient pathways, education and adoption of theranostics solutions.
  • Operational and logistics support, acting in a hands-on and reactive manner when needed to help resolve operational, supply chain or logistics issues impacting commercial continuity in the region.

Short- and mid-term priorities for the role include:

- Restoring commercial momentum and accelerating performance in Mexico

- Developing and expanding the business footprint in Colombia

- Defining and executing a strategic roadmap for Central America, including evaluating the region as a future logistics and operational hub for LATAM North

LATAM North currently represents approximately €8M in annual revenues and is expected to become a key growth platform within Curium’s Growth Markets organization.

Essential Functions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Commercial & Sales Leadership

 

• Achieve annual sales and revenue objectives across LATAM North

• Drive sales execution with distributors, partners and direct customer engagement

• Negotiate commercial agreements in line with Curium pricing and profitability strategy

• Develop and implement commercial action plans to grow existing accounts and penetrate new markets

• Restore growth trajectory in Mexico while accelerating market development in Colombia

• Identify opportunities to expand Curium’s presence across Central America

• Maintain strong relationships with hospitals, radiopharmacies, Nuclear Medicine departments and Oncology stakeholders

• Monitor competitive dynamics, market evolution and customer needs across the region

 

Market Development & Commercial Marketing Activities

 

• Define and implement local commercial and marketing tactics adapted to regional market realities

• Prepare and optimize the sales environment to support sustainable market adoption of Curium’s portfolio

• Foster collaboration and education initiatives between Nuclear Medicine physicians and Oncologists to improve referral pathways and multidisciplinary engagement

• Support educational activities, workshops, scientific exchanges and stakeholder engagement initiatives

• Contribute to market shaping activities for theranostics and radiopharmaceutical solutions

• Partner closely with Marketing and Medical Affairs teams to support local market activation strategies and customer education initiatives

 

Operational & Cross-Functional Support

 

• Act as a hands-on regional leader able to react quickly to operational, logistics or supply-related challenges

• Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure continuity of product availability and customer service

• Support distributors and customers in resolving urgent operational issues impacting business continuity

• Contribute to the assessment of Central America as a potential regional logistics and distribution hub

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, pharmacovigilance and quality requirements

Requirements

• At least 10-15 years of experience working in Sales in the pharmaceutical industry managing a large sales portfolio in diagnostic and/or therapy.

• Solid experience working with Hospitals, very good understanding of supply chain processes.

• Deep knowledge of LATAM markets, particularly Mexico, Colombia and Central America.

• Experience in developing emerging healthcare markets and distributor-driven environments is highly valued.

• Strong network and connections with Top KOLs in the Healthcare sector in LATAM.

• Experience building cross-functional collaborations between commercial, medical and operational teams.

• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in fast-evolving environments.

• Experience supporting market development and physician engagement in Oncology and/or Nuclear Medicine ecosystems.

• Fluent English and Spanish with excellent presentation skills.
