Summary of Position

This role is a key member of the Accounting and Finance team, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll, debt, and general ledger activities, and ensuring compliance with U.S. and international regulatory standards. The position contributes to month end close, payment processing, audit readiness, and continuous process improvement to strengthen financial operations. It requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across a multicultural, cross functional environment.

 

Work Schedule: M- F 8am – 5pm

Essential Functions

  • Maintain operational compliance with U.S. and international regulatory standards, including FDA, DEA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, and cGMP.
  • Ensure all financial activities strictly adhere to GAAP/IFRS standards and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Lead coordination for internal and external audits, ensuring timely delivery of documentation and resolution of findings.
  • Coordinate sales and use tax activity with third party specialists.
  • Prepare government census and miscellaneous reporting.
  • Manage general ledger integrity by performing comprehensive reconciliations and resolving discrepancies across all accounts.
  • Execute month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Direct payroll and benefits accounting, including expense verification, entry recording, and accrual management.
  • Oversee debt accounting by recording disbursements, repayments, and interest accruals, while reconciling all debt-related transactions.
  • Manage payment processing workflows, ensuring authorized disbursements align with internal controls and treasury schedules.
  • Administer ERP data integrity, specifically coordinating customer pricing updates and system-wide data entry.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to modernize accounting systems, strengthen internal controls, and enhance data efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • CPA or CMA highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP with IFRS knowledge a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
  • Independent, inquisitive and a self-starter.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with a multi-cultural and cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel); experience with large ERP systems is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence tools preferred.


Working Conditions:

  • This position will work in typical office conditions with extensive time using computer equipment.  
  • Close attention to detail required. 
  • Willingness to work in a team-based environment. 
  • May be required to sit or stand for long periods of 8+ hours a day while performing duties.   
  • Must possess good hand-eye coordination; close attention to detail is required. 
  • Willingness to complete safety training within allotted timeframes, and work in a team-based environment. 
  • The position deals with many deadlines. Must be able to work outside of regular work hours, including off shift, weekend, and holiday work as business needs require.
